Bracelet Size Chart
How to Measure Your Wrist?
You only need two things: a flexible measuring tape (or a strip of paper and a ruler).
Method 1 — Measuring tape Wrap it around your wrist just below the wrist bone (where you'd naturally wear a bracelet). Keep it snug but not tight. Note the measurement in both centimetres and inches.
Method 2 — Paper strip Wrap a thin strip of paper around your wrist, mark where it overlaps, then lay it flat against a ruler.
Pro tip: Always measure the wrist you wear bracelets on. For most people that's the non-dominant hand — but if you stack bracelets on your right wrist, measure that one.
Understanding Bracelet Fit
Before looking at any chart, decide how you like your bracelet to sit:
| Fit Style | Extra Length to Add | How It Looks |
|---|---|---|
| Snug | +1 cm / +0.5" | Sits close to the skin, minimal movement |
| Standard (recommended) | +2 cm / +0.75" | Comfortable, slight movement when you move your hand |
| Loose / Stacked | +2.5–3 cm / +1–1.25" | Slides freely, ideal for layering multiple bracelets |

These include chain bracelets, link bracelets, and tennis bracelets — any style with a clasp. Sizing is based on total bracelet length.

Bangle Size Chart
Bangles are rigid and slip over the hand, so they are sized differently — the key measurement is the widest part of your hand, not your wrist.
How to Measure for Bangles
Hold your four fingers together and bring your thumb in toward your palm (as if you're slipping a bangle on). Measure the widest point across your knuckles.
| Size | Hand Width (cm) | Hand Width (inches) | Inner Bangle Diameter (mm) | Inner Bangle Circumference (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| XS | up to 6.5 cm | up to 2.55" | 57 mm | 17.9 cm |

Cuff Bracelet Size Chart
Cuffs are open-ended and adjustable, which makes them more forgiving — but getting close to the right size still matters for comfort and appearance.
How Cuffs Fit
Cuffs sit around the wrist and can be gently pressed in or out to adjust. They should sit snugly enough not to slide, but you should be able to slip them on and off easily.
| Size | Wrist (cm) | Wrist (inches) | Gap Width (mm) | Inner Circumference (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S/M | 14–16.5 cm | 5.5–6.5" | 25–30 mm | 15–16.5 cm |
| M/L | 16.5–19 cm | 6.5–7.5" | 25–30 mm | 17–18.5 cm |
| One Size | 13–20 cm | 5.1–7.9" | 30–35 mm | adjustable |
Most of our cuff bracelets come in One Size or S/M and M/L. If you are between sizes, S/M works well for wrists under 16 cm and M/L for 16 cm and above.
Charm Bracelet Size Chart
Charm bracelets (including Pandora-compatible and beaded styles) work on the same sizing as chain bracelets. The key difference is that charms and beads add weight, so a slightly looser fit is more comfortable.
| Size | Wrist (cm) | Wrist (inches) | Recommended Bracelet Length (cm) | Recommended Bracelet Length (inches) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 13–14 cm | 5.1–5.5" | 16 cm | 6.3" |
| S | 14–15 cm | 5.5–5.9" | 17 cm | 6.7" |
| M | 15–16.5 cm | 5.9–6.5" | 18 cm | 7.1" |
| L | 16.5–18 cm | 6.5–7.1" | 19.5 cm | 7.7" |
| XL | 18–19.5 cm | 7.1–7.7" | 21 cm | 8.3" |
| XXL | 19.5–21 cm | 7.7–8.3" | 22.5 cm | 8.9" |
Stacking & Layering Tips
If you're shopping to wear multiple bracelets together (which we love), keep these in mind:
- Mix fits intentionally. Wear one piece at standard fit, one at loose fit — they'll move independently and look effortless.
- Bangles stack best at the same size. A set of 3–5 bangles all in your correct size creates a clean, cohesive stack.
- Chain + cuff combinations work well when the cuff sits closer to the wrist and the chain bracelet drapes loosely above it.
- Tennis bracelets look best at a snug-to-standard fit when worn alone, but size up slightly when stacking with other pieces.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I'm between two sizes?
Size up for chain bracelets and charm bracelets — a little extra room is always more comfortable than a tight fit. For bangles, size down if you have smaller knuckles relative to your wrist, or up if your knuckles are wider.
I'm shopping as a gift and don't know the recipient's wrist size. What should I do?
A size M (17 cm / 6.7") fits the majority of women's wrists and is the safest bet for gifting. For men, a size L (19 cm / 7.5") is a good default. All Real Canary orders come with a complimentary gift note — and we offer free size exchanges so the recipient can swap if needed.
Do your bracelets fit men?
Yes. Our chain and cuff styles in L, XL, and XXL are popular with men. Average male wrist size is 17–20 cm / 6.7–7.9", so L or XL works for most.
My wrist is larger than XXL. Can I order a custom size?
Absolutely. Reach out to us at [your contact email] before placing your order and we'll make it work.
Are your sizes the same as Pandora?
Our charm bracelets follow Pandora's sizing convention (bracelets listed in cm). A Pandora size 17 = our S, size 18 = M, size 19 = L, size 20 = XL, size 21 = XXL.
What's your exchange policy if the size doesn't fit?
We offer free size exchanges within 30 days of delivery. The bracelet must be unworn and in its original packaging. See our full returns policy for details.
